I don't know why I don't like to write on my blog anymore but I don't... I'll write a post, then it forever remains as a draft. I like writing my ideas out, but I don't really care for the idea of other people reading it. I don't really care for discussion either. My journal is good to me :)
Anyway a few months ago I posted this picture about bad parenting.
It's not a funny picture, because it's so true and it's really sad. A couple of weeks ago my sister-in-law Katie told me a story. Before she told me she said, "You're going to feel bad but listen to what Andrew said the other day".
Last month my 2-year-old (almost 3) nephew was watching TV and he said something like, "That's stupid". Katie said, "Andrew don't say that word". Then he said, "Well Aunt Cindy said it!"
I do feel bad! I probably only said it once and I didn't know he was listening. And I'm not even his parent!
It's amazing how they watch and learn from us.
Of course most parents want the best for their children, but children don't just need to be taught. They need an example. They need someone to lead them and guide them.
I rarley say that word anyway....
Poor little duckies...

YOU TERRIBLE AUNT YOU! From now on I am going to blame everything Zack says on you! That makes me laugh that Andrew ratted you out!
Don't you fret Cindy. Since this episode Andrew kindly points out when the TV, Dave or I say the word stupid. You were just the first one he blamed it on!
Don't make fun Janet!
I know, Andrew will be ok :) I'm not a bad person. I do think it's funny and when you first told me I did feel bad. Maybe it's because Andrew is so sweet :)
